5. Modern Republicanism believes our country is a business corporation

The heart off modern Republicanism is a belief that we have no shared society, only individual actors and business corporations, and that our government is a corporation, the president is a CEO, congress is a Board of Directors, the supreme court is an Advisory Board, the number of shares individuals hold is based upon how much wealth one has, and mega millionaires and billionaires control most shares. The purpose of the United States of America is to enrich the major shareholders

The rest of us believe our country is a society of individuals living and working together for liberty and justice for all, and our government is how we ensure liberty and justice for all, and provide for our general welfare and our common defense

Quite a difference.
