But if I remember correctly, it was actually a solar hot water system not panels. I believe UVM ended up with it. But your premise is still right. Carter also helped get fluorocarbons banned because there was a huge hole in the ozone that because of Carter and actions by our allies, first world countries, the hole was able to fixed itself.
