There is no need to panic truly. But things have gotten to the point where I have to say something, because this is all so indirect and intangible and it looks like so many things breaking at the same time with very few people sounding the alarms in the right way and those are all people like me, who are more or less directly or indirectly in the path of a juggernaut of stupidity with no relief in sight.

A war of economic attrition with rarer forays of violent brutality is what I am worried about. But the former increases the odds of the latter.

This is not kayfabe or insanity. I wish I could go and work. I have a sometimes malicious antagonist inside my own head at least who mocks me incessantly when I engage with society in any way that is not dullest routine. So you can be sure I take no pleasure in this foul task.

Worse, my hope is that after some writing that makes my heart pound as it so uncharacteristic (I hate unnatural animal behavior), I can return to the comfort of my own research and all I will remember soon (as this is so unpleasant a chore for someone of my type) is some melodramatic and vague screed online (the antagonist inside my head is more vicious than any other. Nature intended me to be a dull woman who does dull things and I protest the avalanche of self-serving, inane, opportunistic human stupidity with occasional forays into equally senseless undirected malice, that has reached a crescendo of mindboggling all sided human stupidity that tries to then blame some clunky “ai” and “agents” - can’t fool all the people all the time you dash dash dashes..who stuffed those stupid “smart things” in everywhere destroying all accountability and regulation?
