team, a different country? IOW, a player receives a red card for coming down on a defender's ankle, having the ref call a foul?

Will that player sit out a suspension of one game or will the leader of that country have to intervene with Mr. FIFA (Infantino)? And if s/he asks for a reconsideration and Mr. FIFA doesn't grant it after granting it to Trump and Balogun, how could the World Cup continue?

This incident (IMO) throws the whole World Cup into disarray with one standard for the U.S. team and another standard for the rest of the teams.
