Since there are no rumoured potential candidates who identify with that label (nope, not even AOC).

B-b-b-but Politico says Dems are having a “hot insurgent summer” !!!

(Sounds kinda sexy to me…)

We'll tack back to center accordingly at the national level.

Dems “tack back to the center” at their own peril, since the data shows that only 8% of those who identify as moderates actually prefer moderate policies- the vast majority prefer progressive policies, despite their ideological label.
