I took a Native American history class, which discussed the current time lines at the time. Clovis arrow heads that were found in the US were actually earlier, but according to professor dates were not confirmed. He also said, the Clovis arrow heads were from Europe, but apparently my quick Google search today says they were only found in the US. The Clovis arrowheads were from 13,400 to 12,700 years ago, according to google.

My mother, who researched our genealogy, went back to the 1400's. So I could say I have information that I have my family history for 600+ years. I just said, through oral history handed down, it would be easy to go back 1,000. According to my long deceased mother, we had a g.g.g.g.g?.grandmother named Freya. She was so happy to have a grandmother who was named after goddess.

I was just saying, it is easy to have a 1,000 year family record. That is, if your family talks and shares stories.
