General Discussion

In my teen years in evangelical circles, mid to late 70's, youth pastors always seemed not right. Just strange. Never could put my finger on it back then. Churches tend to think their pastoral staff are "called by God", thus completely trustworthy. As we grew older, we learned they are most certainly not. That such a system naturally breeds some rather sordid behaviors and attracts the wrong sort of people. Reason number 168 why I left the faith never to return.
