2. I joined Du in '22 to scream about the Court

I was terrified of what this cabal of fascists was going to do in the near future. But so many were content to get back to "normality" and business as usual. It seemed like we just didn't want to believe just how bad things could get.

We had so many opportunities after T1.0:
-statehood for DC and PR
-universal health care
-purging the thugs that T1.0 filled Federal LEO and Civil Service and USPS with
-prosecution of criminals who made Nixon look like a Cub Scout
-and EXPANDING THE COURT.

We had both houses of Congress and the presidency, and a swell of public opinion bouncing on recent memories. And we threw it away. For "normalcy".

"Garland knows best".
"Too hard", the voices of reason and sensibility said.

You know what's too hard? The world we have today.

Why do 1/3 of eligible citizens not vote?

Reaching across the aisle just means falling on our face.
Imitation rethugs always lose to the real thing.
Backing down just tells the enemy we're weak.
They are laughing at us.

It's time to fight. I hope it's not too late.
