Executive Orders are only the whims of a president. [View all]

They have not been written into law. They can be over-ridden and thrown in the trash can by the next President.

But, they can be dangerous. They can be unconstitutional. That is why the judges have to keep a close eye on the present occupant of the White House. He does not care about the Constitution. Or perhaps, he does not even know about the Constitution?

For example, when he signs an "executive order" to do away with Mail-in Voting, he has no authority to interfere in the voting of the different states. It is not in the Constitution. So a judge has to clarify and explain that his "EO" has no power or standing. It is null and void.
