I have no idea what his condition was a decade ago when he posted the despicable comments. I have no idea what Reddit rabbit holes he had been traveling down.
One thing I KNOW is that people can radically change their view of the world on almost any dimension. Just look at David Brock. Look at people who have left violent extremist groups or cults and are helping others break free. There are countless examples. I don't have any X-rape apologist persons in mind, but transformation is absolutely possible.

Being physically abusive and blocking women in rooms isn't something to just ignore like he belches at the dinner table
