He drew the line with Chump and suddenly no Repuke candidates wanted to hire Rick to manage their campaigns. That's what led to his decision to leave the Repuke Party, or maybe they left him, I'm not sure.

Shortly after that he wrote the book "Everything Trump Touches Dies," which is a classic. I read that book when it first came out, and that was when I realized that Rick Wilson wasn't pulling our legs. He's not what you'd call a "progressive" but he does believe in social/liberal causes, he absolutely detests Chump and the MAGAs, and he's a fiscal conservative.

We have a big tent, and there's lots of room for Rick and others like him.
