No dictator who ever seized power had the support of all the people, or even a majority. All he would need is to declare an emergency, such as "obvious election fraud," and that the key people - the military, the GOP leaders in Congress - decide that in the "emergency" he should temporarily control things. It would be announced as temporary, and then it would simply continue. He could call for a Constitutional Convention - not that he has any right, but that would never stop him - and then the Republicans could create the kind of government they can control permanently.

Far too many Americans are complacent about their government, and relatively few of us would make enough noise to be a problem. Make no mistake; America is under threat from this man.

Now, I am not saying he WOULD do this, but I am saying that he'd stand a better chance of succeeding at this than trying to run for a third time under our current Constitution.
