He’s run a sketchy teen beauty pageant, an even sketchier modeling agency, spent many years doing a reality show in an industry obsessed with people’s looks, and the highest compliment he seems to be able to give anyone is that they look like they came from central casting.

There are certainly other rich and powerful (usually) men who do the same, but so far they haven’t wormed their way into the White House. It’s appalling that an entire branch of government that formerly valued experience and competence now prioritizes looks and sycophancy.
