NY-17: Trump to appear in campaign-style event with vulnerable Mike Lawler [View all]

President Trump will head to one of the most competitive House districts in the country on Friday to campaign with incumbent Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), who is considered one of the most vulnerable Republican lawmakers.

According to a White House sign-up page sent by Lawler’s campaign, the event will take place in Rockland County, N.Y., on Friday.

White House spokesperson Liz Huston said in a statement the event will highlight affordability and tax cuts, including Trump’s work on the state and local tax (SALT).

“This Friday, President Trump will visit the great State of New York to highlight his strong record of making life more affordable for working families,” Huston said.
