12. I am in my eighties. Abortion was never legal when I was single and birth control was hit or miss.

I honestly believe there were a lot more abortions back then than there have been since abortion was made legal. The main problem besides not being safe is illegal abortions cost cash, a commodity poorer people don't have. That forces women without money to use self-inflicted methods. The jackasses in the GOP are too dumb to realize what a can of worms they just opened but they don't give a crap. Lording over women makes them feel manly.
