John is my state senator. I have met him and some in his family. I voted for him in the primary. Yes, it would suck to lose him as my senator, but I voted for him anyway because I want the best person to win in November!
Side note: like Steve, I will vote for Powell if (probably when) she becomes the nominee, but only because I never vote republican. Now I am focusing my energy on getting Dan Osborn and Lynne Walz elected in Nebraska!
