11. EXACTLY: "The people don't hate us. The government hates us."

If a competent President had been in office when the latest internal stirrings of discontent with their own government began, we would be a long way to meaningful change by and for the Persian people, and fences mended with America after our last thorough eff-up(s).

Their patience and appreciation for the historical ideals of America, not to mention the large Persian-American population that has grown up here, has been inspiring.

And yet we KEEP effing it up.

Yet another form of American insanity...
