My husband and I had a very good friend die with it. The spread is generally fast although our friend lasted nearly two years. He got to see the Eagles win the Super Bowl which was a gift; he was a down home Philly fan.
I have great sympathy for all patients and their families who go through this. It's brutal.
So yes, rest in power.
