1. It's literally exactly what the framers intended

They didn't want evil laws like slavery preventing people from gaining citizenship.

They carved out "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" to exempt children born to foreign diplomats or hostile forces, but other than that, they meant everybody.

Most particularly, they absolutely meant to give citizenship to a discriminated minority. They did NOT mean that citizenship could be withheld to increase the whiteness of America.

Republican as usual as completely ignoring obvious truths and just making crap up.
