I think it is HIM and his weird obsessions, probably with help from chemicals. I think he is posting all the deranged things that he would do - it is all his guilt coming to the surface.

Besides being demented, he is exposing who and what he really is. The posts are confessions as he nears the end of his life and whatever his concept of Judgement Day is.
