1. Denies the True Identity of Jesus

One clear sign is a refusal to acknowledge who Jesus truly is. As it says, “Who is the liar if not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist…” (1 John 2:22). Anyone promoting a counterfeit version of Christ, or dismissing Him as Lord, fits this pattern.

Scripture highlights that this figure embodies rebellion. The Bible warns, “Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness—the son of destruction—is revealed” (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
