I've come to realize in middle age that other people's clocks are highly cautious and fearful creatures that will never reach the appointed hour. Like a Lorentz factor calculated in anxiety.

Someone has to advocate for change or there will not be change.

She's planting her flag.

Let it be a beacon for the next twenty years as the old guard sloughs off like so much necrotic political tissue.
