He's wrong to think there will be useful residue left by generative AI, because it will still be built on theft, it will still hurt the incomes of those whose work was stolen to train AI to replace them (and that is just as harmful as money lost by small investors), it will still harm education, it will still dumb down users, it will still harm the natural environment, and it will still pollute our information ecosystem with AI slop.
