So while perhaps not her intention, there is no better place to say that sentence than standing next to him.

The guy literally thinks exercise uses up limited energy/life, and eats a grotesque quantity of McDonalds. And look at that sad sack of crap. Gross! Heed the advice, kids, or you could turn out like him.
