I shouldn’t be surprised but we were told originally that it was going to be what, $200 million in private donations. Now it’s a billion in taxpayer funds??? They really do have no shame. This is what happens when there’s little to no consequences for conservative actions for decades. They vote for stuff like this because they know it’s fine. The voters won’t punish them and the press will barely call them on it.
