In reply to the discussion: There was a huge long line for gas at 2pm this Monday afternoon [View all]Farmer-Rick

There has been a line at the Walmart gas station for the past 3 days around 2 or 3 pm. I never use it because I had my credit card stolen there several times. I rather pay a few cents more to avoid getting my card stolen.
So, I go down the street to the Ingles that has no line. Walmart has the cheapest gas in a 50 mile area. The lines are getting longer there but the other stations are open.

It was shocking. But it is the truth. Don't know if this is sign of more to come.

I really do not know. But I presume a run on gas at cheaper price could cause supply disruption.

I'm guessing the idea is that more people are buying discounted gas at places like Costco and BJ's?
