Saw a clip of James Talarico addressing a historically black college graduation in TX! [View all]

Good for him! He is reaching out, and it looked like he got a great reception. He addressed the fact that young people are "disillusioned" by the cost of living today. I liked the way he framed it. He said that disillusion means losing your illusions and facing reality. It is now time to do that although it can be painful.

Broadening out that theme, losing illusions is something everyone is beginning to do, even R voters. More plain speaking by gifted communicators like Talarico can accelerate that before the midterms.
