2. I lived in a really, really RED town in Nevada

So "Red" that Don Jr. and Eric made an appearance at the local hotel in 2016, pimping for daddy.

MAGATs not buying Kid Rock tickets made perfect sense to me.

The people in this town wanted EVERYTHING FOR FREE.

SENIORS would go into a store and point to items already marked down on sale and "demand" a "senior discount" on top of it (which means the store would sell it to them at LESS THAN THEIR COST).

People in their TWENTIES would go to restaurants and order a "SENIOR MEAL"...intentionally SMALLER, hence the PRICE, then go home and complain on Facebook that it "hardly filled them up."

And they were ALWAYS on Facebook demanding stores like Target (they had a WalMart), restaurants like Outback Steak House, "multiplex" movie theaters.

And the issue was that people who HAD the money to invest in one of these franchises COULD ALSO READ (as in everything I shared with you above). No one in their RIGHT MIND would put it all on the line to set up shop in a town like that.

A Jamba Juice went belly-up in town. They lured the locals in with free food and beverages. Then the freebies stopped. So did the locals. Bye bye, Jamba Juice.
