5. While In The Big Town 20 Miles From Us....

...I saw a 5 as the first number on a gas station sign for the first time ever!
It's $4.84 here, but 20 miles away near the interstate I saw $5.059. Diesel was $6.199 at that station.
Not the most expensive adjusted for inflation (Silverspoon George did that), but over 5 bucks for the first time.
It's probably well over $5 in Chicago proper.
That ought to make folks happy.
