Abject failure. If anything is hampering our party, it's that goddamn "college professor" politics the last couple of decades.

Politics has always been a dirty business and always will be. The only question is, are we going to do what's necessary to win. Too often, many on the left confuse governing and politics. They are not the same. And are only linked by the fact that you have to do the politics thing well before you get to do the governing thing. Our approval of that is as irrelevant as our opinion on the sun rising in the east. It is what it is.
