(33,048 posts)17. We have an interesting area of historic homes
in my small community. Some of them are still occupied by family descendants. Some have become bed and breakfasts and that sort of thing. None of them are decaying and decrepit. Some of the occupants are Democrats. I can count of them to vote and to contribute financially. One of the ladies served on our library board. She has a large ballroom on the third floor of her well-preserved home. Her kids and grandkids refer to it as the basketball court. That is how they use it. They play kickball up there, too.
