It's obviously wrong if Hegseth deliberately chose to block promotions of people solely because of their identity group (stereotyping). That doesn't mean it's just to lash out at another stereotyped group.

I think the whole idea of identity group hyper-awareness is simple minded. It seems intellectual, but it's really not.
