11. HOAs for the most part, should be illegal.

Smaller HOAs for things like, people who live by a body of water and they pay fees for sharing boat docking and stuff like that is fine. But no one is going to tell me what to do with my house unless its the actual government and its a legit safety/zoning issue. If I want to have 10 trees or zero trees, none of your business. I'll paint my house whatever color I want, none of your business. I'll park a boat in my driveway if I want, none of your business.
