They ALL have families, and when threat levels escalate, that does have at least some impact--even though THEY have protection. Plus, they have already confirmed via their public speeches how they are perceived and the diminished respect for the courts in general, IS getting to them.

That said, I don't think Trump's being there has worked or will work. When I read that Roberts (quite correctly) did NOT acknowledge his presence in the room, I was so relieved.
