11. Generally, I suspect that anything I laugh at

is inappropriate in some way...since people where I live (Iowa, small town) outside of my husband and kids never seem to laugh at anything I find funny.

They just give me a weird, disapproving look.

My middle son moved to Wisconsin last year (where DH and I are from) and he says he loves it there as people don't look at him like he's grown a second head when he makes a quip or comment...they just laugh or groan.

So, maybe it's that people here are not accustomed to humor.

Long explanation, but I've been here for 25 years and we're still "new people" in town because we didn't attend elementary or even high school here.

Long explanation for my suspicion that anything I laugh at must be inappropriate.

But yeah, that was funny.
