putting together my playlist for that special day [View all]

decided it was time to work on this so i thought about it yesterday and made the list this morning.

i'm open to suggestions and it's not listed in any particular order, although i do think peaches en regalia by zappa should open the day due to it's big intro. anyway, here's what i got:

4. holiday - madonna

7. joy to the world - three dog night

8. i just want to celebrate - rare earth

10. everybody's happy nowadays - buzzcocks

11. glad - traffic

12. fun day - stevie wonder

13. sunshine, lollipops and rainbows - leslie gore

14. nothing will be as it was tomorrow - flora purim

15. dance dance dance - chic

i'm still debating about ding dong the witch is dead by the fifth estate

if you don't know some of these songs (like the zappa, buzzcocks, traffic, or the flora purim ones) i hope you can check them out -- they might be a good fit for your playlist on that special day.
