Of course, concerns of security and self-worth are universal, but when they are based on things like race and religion, gender etc. other people stand to get hurt. Most of the people you're talking about are probably not sophisticated when it comes to policy and the republican party has latched onto that which is why they created the specter of the "culture wars." Anyone "different" who is fighting for their constitutional rights is a "threat to culture." And now here we are. They'll vote to jack up their health insurance and put their farms in dire straits just to stick it to the "woke" crowd.

And while not all republicans were so extreme, they all sat back and played along when it suited them. They also did it with the help of white independents who were unequipped to recognize just how anti-everything the republican party had become. They just saw a bunch of white male faces and like everything elses, assumed "they're stronger on the economy, foreign policy, and crime." Wrong!

I just wonder what the new name of the movement will be after Cankles Rashneck is dead and gone.
