11. One of my biggest concerns is the intrusion factor.

Technology, like fascism, creeps in.
I was teaching high school when the Smart Phone took over our lives. Digital has replaced analog and it is transformative.
Young people cannot do well with analog with a digital mind. My grandson, graduating from UCF with a degree in computer science, in May, had asked me for my Royal portable typewriter and I gladly gave it to him with one caveat: please return it rather than give it away if you don't use it.
I asked him about it at his birthday celebration this past weekend. Asked if he ever used it. It is sitting in my daughter's in a closet, only used once. It was too hard to press the keys and manage the return.
Back in my business years I kept a small portable recorder near me and had it transcribed. My people developed a real time video imaging system for colonoscopy, for example, when the surgeon would press a footpad for picture and mic his description for the medical record.
Today, we can ChatGPT, and write a plot for attacking an enemy in real time minutes.
I worry that we ignore the ethos, logos and pathos of our daily decision making turning it over to AI.
It is being hard sold, because there is a lot of money to be lost if it doesn't work.
