The tide is changing--I live in a county that went 60% for Trump and they are angry! [View all]

I live in a VERY red Trumpian county. Nextdoor was a barometer of just how fanatic the support has remained. When the ICE brutality was at its peak in Minnesota, these people were rabid in their glee. “Yeah!! Way to go Trump!!!” was 95% of the commentary.

What a difference a war in Iran and high gas prices make. Wow! I have never seen so many negative comments about what Trump is doing, and voices that still try to defend are few (maybe 10%) and half-hearted versus full throated. HUGE shift which I honestly didn’t think possible. I am genuinely surprised.

Lots of Trumpers in their huge trucks in my neck of the woods, the gas prices must be hitting them hard. Sucks that it’s only when something affects Trumpers personally that they care, but the right has always been that way so no surprise.
