All three of us in my family opt out of millimeter wave screenings. (Once is strictly medically necessary - millimeter wave technology can destroy the functionality of CGMs; the other two are out of an abundance of caution because both of us undergo an extraordinary amount of medical imaging and are at high risk for a half dozen or so cancers. In theory there is no risk - but that's what they told my grandparents when my mother started getting annual chest X-ray rays as a child.
