Since 9/11 (and the Shoe Bomber), it's been held that, in terms of strict liability, it's dangerous to fly WITHOUT the proper screen and security, hence the TSA.

No TSA, no security, and inadequate substitutes.

Passengers greatly delayed, some missing their flights. Crowded airports. Airlines in disarray, losing money.

Trump sending in ICE, who suck at detention of immigrants, will suck much more as they aren't trained to do the job. IOW, somebody's going to get hurt.

New demand: Trump wants DHS fully funded, except he doesn't. Schumer has offered but has been turned down. Trump now wants the SAVE Act passed before he signs the funding bill. Sure, the funding bill could be passed and enacted without his veto if Congress stays in session for 10 days. But either Mike Johnson and/or John Thune could arbitrarily call for a recess during those 10 days. (Guess who told him/them to do that.) And it would become a Pocket Veto.

Everyone suffers because Trump is playing Intrigue in the Palace.
