21. I Almost BLAME Obama for Our Predicament

I also see Trump as a kind of backhanded as*******. Imagine someone with a high intellect who has held this office. Eisenhower, Nixon, Carter, Clinton. People opposed them but not that many people tried to "PUNK" them in intellectual terms every single day and, with evidence of their own lack of intellect piling up daily, CONTINUED to habitually challenge the ex-President. Obama sometimes in current appearances says something like "Can you IMAGINE if I did that??!!" ...a great applause line and exasperatingly funny. But sometimes you just wonder as Trump blunders into today's situation... us he just trying to drive sensible people into a coronary? Using HIS ineptness to cause competent people to short circuit. I think of Rex Tillerson and Gen. Milley just sitting by a lake every day with iced tea REFUSING to read the newspaper.... FOREVER!

I find myself wondering if Obama did TOO GOOD a job. Smart, a good person, one who tried to offer his opponents a chance to show a win even if they lost and then after Trump was such a s***heel with the birth certificate hoax, Obama rightly roasted him a bit in public at that dinner and suddenly Trump was set aflame with fury. I was one of those who was totally skeptical of the wisdom of Obama 2008 thinking that we needed a "wartime consigliere"... someone who KNOWS they are at war, which Hilary Clinton knew, but NO One in the Democratic Party is both capable or willing to fight as hard as is needed. Left to today's reality it could take 10 or 15 years to organically assemble the right people. Meanwhile we just hope Trump is weakened enough and tens of millions of Dem voters get their passports by the end of summer!
