23. Probably an inadvertent crossover from spending too much time in areas where Republicanese is widely used.

Sort of like people who use an apostrophe to form a plural--it's standard Republicanese, but I doubt that most Democrats who do that do so deliberately.

I don't think it is a deliberate jab, such as using "Democrat" as an adjective.
