That's a sign of someone who feels helpless and frustrated. Takes it out on the whole world.

He is facing another failure in life, like all his other failures, but this time has run out of people to bail him out. He is facing a world that is no longer accepting his gaslighting excuses.

So he blames everyone and lashes out. A very dangerous stage for everyone else when a malignant narcissist is forced to face himself.
