6. It's not a Kennedy Center honor. The Profiles in Courage Award is out of Trump's control.

"The winners of the award are selected by a committee named by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, which includes members of the Kennedy family and other prominent Americans."--from Wikipedia

Certainly those who select the award winners look for someone who stands up to power, which these days is Trump. So how could this honor go to anyone but a Trump opponent? The very existence of such an award is kind of pushback against Trump.
