7. The oil blockade's affecting food production.

(Note that the PRC was a great friend of Maduro, as was Putin and Khamenei, and the PRC really wants intel installations close to the US. Russia's also coming to the country's rescue with an oil tanker heading towards it. The PRC's also pissed over the pressure to shift contracts for industrially and strategically useful metals from it to, oh, the US.)
