I too had the Certificate of Birth Registration. It got me into Kindergarten, driver's training and college. When I was applying for a passport, I was told it wasn't my birth certificate. Then I had to apply for it. It's good to keep your passport up to date too. I didn't change my name when I married so different names won't be a problem.

I needed to get a copy a short time ago. It was an easy process and took only a few weeks. Do it now!

I would think fingerprints and toeprints would work. They don't change much with age, except to grow larger. nt

Born in 52. Got the state (pa) certifed BS in 84. Went to get a passport last summer and this one was not accepted.
