They are panicked about the midterms, and arent willing to kill the filibuster to pass the SAVE act because they know it will disenfranchise as many, if not more of their voters than Dem voters.
50+ republicans have read the tea leaves and are retiring from congress. Many (Tillis for example) no longer GAF and are opposing Trump on various issues.
Before the cameras, they are cocky and defiant, but aside from the diehard MAGA cultists in the cabinet, most republicans know in their hearts this one undeniable, unavoidable truth:
Nothing can stop the Blue Tsunami in November
Dont let scripted performances by cultists tickle your amygdalas imagination into foreseeing doom and defeat in November.
