He removed the sanctions on Russian oil so Russia could sell it to India. Russia is happy with high crude prices, it can finance the war.

I believe that Krasnov may talk with Putin more so than we know, maybe daily?

Reading the link I provided makes me wonder if Ivana's death was an accident. My link suggests that Ivana worked with Krasnov to betray the United States.
