encouraging. SA's long-term stability is complicated by its proximity to Iran, whose Shia majority has no love lost for the Saudi Sunnis, and resent the Saudi royal family being the guardians of the holy cities. So anything that weakens Iran can be seen as buying time for the royals, which is their usual recourse.

I only wish it had been a more recent book. None of the recent biz w/MBS was covered.
